Bhadrakali Temple is a popular Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Bhadrakali or Kali Matha.

The temple is located on the banks of Bhadrakali Lake on a hilltop, between the twin cities of Warangal and Hanamkonda in Telangana State, India.

One of the main attraction of this temple is the fierce looking Goddess Bhadrakali.

It is one of the oldest temple in India dedicated to Goddess Bhadrakali [literally means Maha Kali Mata].

Bhadrakali Temple History:

From the ancient inscriptions found on the temple wall, it is believed that Bhadrakali Temple is constructed by the Chalukya dynasty King Pulakeshin II around 625 AD.

Warangal railway station (station code:WL) is well connected to all major cities of India. It is present on Delhi-Vijayawada-Chennai route.

Another nearby station is Kazipet Junction railway station (station code:KZJ) present on Delhi-Kazipet-Secunderabad route.
