One of the main attraction of this temple is the fierce looking Goddess Bhadrakali.

It is one of the oldest temple in India dedicated to Goddess Bhadrakali [literally means Maha Kali Mata].

From the ancient inscriptions found on the temple wall, it is believed that Bhadrakali Temple is constructed by the Chalukya dynasty King Pulakeshin II around 625 AD.
