1. Mantralayam - Raghavendra Swamy Temple:-

Mantralayam Temple is the famous pilgrimage center in the Kurnool district and is home to the Sacred samadhi of Jagadguru Sriman Madhwacharya Moola Mahasamsthana Sri Raghavendra Swamy (1601-1671) or Guru Rayaru.

Mantralayam, also known as the brindavan of Raghavendra Swamy, is located on the southern bank of the sacred Tungabhadra river.

Sri Raghavendra Swamy is a great Vaishnava saint who promoted Sri Madhvåacharya’s Tatvavada Philosophy. He is believed to be the reincarnation of Bhakta Prahlada.

Sri Raghavendra Swamy is addressed in different affectionate ways by the devotees like Gurusarvabhouma, Rayaru, Raghappa, Gururaja and so on.

Visitors must wear traditional dhoti for Gents and Saree for Ladies to go near the Brindavan sanctum.

Telugu, Kannada and Tamil are the regional languages spoken here at Mantralayam.
