Another popular belief among the devotees is that:-

"If any employee be it Government or Private sector looking for a promotion or relocation of place in their current job, come and pray with real respect to the Jagan Mohini Kesava Swamy Temple, then their wishes are granted and blessed accordingly by Lord Vishnu in Ryali."

Brief History:

The ancient history of Jaganmohini Kesava Swamy temple goes back to the Sagar Mathan when the ocean was churned by Gods and Demons to extract the divine nectar.

They choose Jaganmohini to distribute it among them. But, Vishnu in the feminine form of Mohini exploits the weaknesses of Demons and gave the nectar completely to Gods to maintain the well-being of the Universe.

In this process Lord Shiva is also attracted by the beauty of Jaganmohini and he attempts to approach her.

While fleeing away from Lord Shiva, a flower from the braid of Jaganmohini has fallen down. Lord Shiva smells this flower and realized that Mohini is none other than the incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

The place where the flower had fallen later came to be known as Ryali which roughly translates to flower falling down.

Jaganmohini-Kesava Swamy temple also overlooks the famous Sri Uma Kamandaleswara Swamy Temple or Ardha-Naareshwara Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.

The main language spoken here in this place is Telugu. This place was also called Ratnapuri in ancient days.
