A magnificent replica of the world-renowned Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple has been erected on a hilltop on Road No 92 in Jubilee Hills by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) trust.
The temple has been meticulously designed to look exactly like the original Tirumala temple, and it is truly a sight to behold. This temple is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the people who built it, and it is sure to become a beloved landmark in Hyderabad.
Construction of Lord Balaji temple began in 2016 on a 3.5-acre government land. The main idol has been raised 45 feet from the ground in the sanctum sanctorum to give the devotees a full view of Lord Balaji.
Standing at a height of 8.6 feet, the main deity will be the most prominent feature of the temple. This shrine will be the second TTD temple in the Hyderabad city after Himayatnagar, which opened two and a half decades ago.
The Srivari idol is made of black granite stone from the Namakkal stone quarry in Tamil Nadu. It was specially designed under the supervision of renowned TTD sculptors.
