The construction of this temple goes back to 300 years. Beeram Chinna Reddy was a good farmer. While ploughing his agricultural farmland, his plough was struck by a Naga Devata idol underneath the earth.

Later in his vision Subrahmanyeswara Swamy ordered Chinna Reddy to construct a beautiful temple for him. He then constructed a beautiful temple of Sri Valli Devasena Sametha Subrahmanyeswara Swamy.
